Hi! My name is Daniella Jasper-Okumagba and I am the founder of a new platform in Calgary I am calling The Brdge. I have been able to connect with many different restaurants and vendors in the city to create a marketplace for all things ethnic food and services. Customers will be able to log on to our site and find Jamaican, Nigerian, Filipino, and many more delicious cuisines available for purchase. To separate ourselves from our competitors, we offer our customers 'meal-prepped' orders which means they can order in bulk and stock their fridge or freezer for their busy work week!

Website Development
We would like a new website for our organization. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us. Students should be prepared to: Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.

Account Manager - Tech Platform
We would like you to act as a representative for our company with our food vendors. As a new platform, we are working on solidifying our automation to meet customer expectations. As an account manager, you will be provided with 4 restaurants as part of your account. As a Brdge Representative, you will be tasked with making sure orders are being fulfilled by communicating orders with our chefs and our delivery company. Based on your work, we will be able to maintain a good relationship with our vendors, learn what is working, and understand what automation needs to be implemented to make operations run smoother. As an Account Manager, your work would be crucial for our success. Once you have reached a threshold for orders (looking at 20 orders per vendor) we will look to introduce proper automation, based on your feedback. The insights that you provide will help our team improve operations and overall customer experience.

Student Brand Ambassador
As a student brand ambassador, you are the face of the company to potential customers, and you focus on making people aware of the productβs existence. For example, you may work at a vendor event, greeting guests and handing out informational packets.Β This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and enhance your resume while representing our brand on campus.

Developing a Sales Strategy for The Brdge
The goal of the project is to create a sales strategy to draw consumers in to explore The Brdge platform that offers home-cooked catering for large and small events alike. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching the current market and trends in the catering industry. - Analyzing The Brdge's current customer base and identifying potential customer segments. - Developing a comprehensive sales strategy to target potential customers. - Creating a marketing plan to promote The Brdge's services. - Developing a pricing strategy to maximize profits. - Testing the developed sales strategy and making improvements based on feedback.
